This standard-duty CRL Tubular Spiral Window Balance (SKU: FR2920) is designed for non-tilt windows and replaces metal or plastic tube balances. Use when replacing a tubular spiral balance with a 3/8" (10 mm) tube and a sash load capacity of up to 25 pounds. The factory-installed FS340 end clip simplifies installation and reduces installation time compared with clip-less balances.


How to order the correct tubular spiral window balance with a factory-installed clip:

1. Confirm the old balance tube material is metal or plastic.
2. Measure the tube length from the end of the balance to the bottom of the colored nylon bushing only — do not include the rod extension.
3. Check the color of the nylon bushing (bushing color identifies spring tension).
4. Verify the rod extension style protruding from the nylon bushing matches the replacement.
5. Choose the required end clip (this product ships with FS340 installed).
6. Match tube diameter, tube length, nylon bushing color, clip type, and sash load to the balance being replaced. If all match, this FR2920 balance is the correct replacement.
