This standard-duty CRL Tubular Spiral Window Balance (SKU: FR2943) is designed for non-tilt windows and replaces metal or plastic tube balances with a sash capacity up to 25 pounds. It ships with a factory-installed FS343 end clip for quick, reliable installation and uses the industry-standard 3/8" tube diameter for broad compatibility.


How to order a replacement tubular spiral window balance with a factory-installed clip:
1. Confirm the old balance tube is metal or plastic.
2. Measure tube length from the end of the balance to the bottom of the colored nylon bushing only — do not include the rod extension.
3. Note the color of the nylon bushing.
4. Verify the rod extension length protruding from the nylon bushing matches the replacement.
5. Choose the required clip (factory-installed FS343 on this SKU).
6. Match tube diameter, tube length, nylon bushing color, and clip to the balance being replaced. If all match, this is the correct replacement balance.
