- Housing: Aluminum casting is 1-3/8" wide x 7-1/2" long x 1" deep [34.9 mm x 190.5 mm x 25.4 mm].
- Indicator: Words “LOCKED" in red or “OPEN" in green on a white background display bolt status; indicator is driven directly by the lock bolt.
- Lever: 3" [76.2 mm] aluminum end-return lever for comfortable grip; spring-loaded to horizontal for automatic relock.
Model 4550 MS® Deadlock Lever (SKU: DH4550L628) provides easy unlocking of most MS® Deadlocks with approximately 3 lbs [1.36 kg] of downward force on the 3" lever. The spring-loaded lever returns to horizontal and relocks with an upward motion. Designed as a direct replacement for an inside key cylinder or cylinder-type thumbturn; not compatible with 7/8" [22.2 mm] backset locks. Ideal for aluminum deadlock lever replacement and door hardware applications requiring a visible lock status indicator.
