- Housing: Aluminum casting is 1-3/8" wide x 7-1/2" long x 1" deep [34.9 mm x 190.5 mm x 25.4 mm].
- Indicator: Words “LOCKED" in red letters or “OPEN" in green letters appear on white background when bolt is thrown or retracted respectively. Indicator is driven by lock bolt itself.
- Lever: 3" [76.2 mm] long aluminum with end-return design offers comfortable grip to lock or unlock.
The 4550 MS® Deadlock Lever (SKU DH4550R628) is an aluminum deadlock lever designed for easy unlocking of most MS® Deadlocks with approximately 3 lbs [1.36 kg] of downward force on a 3" [76.2 mm] lever. The spring-loaded lever returns to horizontal and relocks with an upward motion. A built-in visual indicator displays LOCKED (red) or OPEN (green) driven directly by the bolt for clear lock status. Designed for retrofit installation in place of an existing key cylinder or cylinder-type thumbturn on the inside of the door. Not compatible with 7/8" [22.2 mm] backset locks. Ideal for commercial and residential MS deadlock retrofit applications where a compact aluminum lever and visible lock indicator are required.
