Overview
The 4550 MS® Deadlock Lever is designed for easy unlocking of MS® Deadlocks, requiring only around three pounds of downward force on its 3" [76.2 mm] aluminum lever.
This lever, featuring an end-return design for a comfortable grip, is spring-loaded to return to a horizontal position and relocks with an upward motion.
The housing of this high-quality deadlock lever is crafted from aluminum casting, measuring 1-3/8" wide x 7-1/2" long x 1" deep [34.9 mm x 190.5 mm x 25.4 mm].
Additionally, the built-in indicator clearly displays "LOCKED" in red or "OPEN" in green, driven by the lock bolt itself, making it an ideal replacement for existing key cylinders or thumbturns.
Note that the 4550 Deadlock Lever is not compatible with 7/8" [22.2 mm] backset locks.
