Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4SDU58PL) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This Wedge-Lock® door rail system for tempered glass doors secures the glass by applying pressure from the bottom of the rail using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage an internal wedge to clamp the glass and gasket, generating extremely high retention force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers fast installation time and reliable long-term performance. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After installing the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable door alignment slide provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door — ideal for out-of-square openings.

To adjust after installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned other than the American Standard setback.
