Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TDU34P) features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented door rail for tempered glass doors secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an internal wedge groove, pulling the pads together to create extremely high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail). Imagine the holding power across the full-length 35-3/4" door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers both superior holding strength and rapid installation—the fastest door rail installation in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you fine-tune the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. This feature is standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide 1/8" adjustment in or out. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
