Our CRL Low Profile Door Rail (SKU: DR2SDU38PL) measures only 2-5/16" (59 mm) tall by 1-1/2" (38 mm) wide and incorporates the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Low profile door rail assemblies ship ready-to-install with End Caps, installation instructions, and adjustment wrenches—ideal for commercial storefronts, interior glass doors, and architectural glass projects.

INSTALLATION & ADJUSTMENT

Rails come completely fabricated with End Caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. To fine-tune alignment, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center securing bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), permitting fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.

• All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include a built-in jamb alignment block; arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements
• Pivot inserts 1NT701, 1NT703, and 1NT704 are sold separately for use with overhead or floor closers
• Models with locks ship with the latch mechanism installed; matching finish keyed cylinders or thumbturns must be ordered separately
• End Caps are included in stock rail lengths; specify total rail length (including End Caps) when ordering custom lengths
