Our glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System to create a high-strength, low-profile method for securing monolithic tempered glass in commercial doors. The system applies downward pressure through two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an internal angled groove to wedge the extrusions together, producing exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in a 9" corner rail). This patented design delivers secure glass retention and industry-leading door-rail strength for full-length rails.

The Wedge-Lock® system is engineered for fast installation and field adjustability. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach your door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. The adjustable slide provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door.

To fine-tune alignment after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out by 1/8" (3.2 mm). The low-profile slide and pivots with slotted grooves allow nonstandard setback fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
