Our innovative CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented wedge-action design applies bottom pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage the door rail’s wedge groove, pulling the pads together and generating extremely high glass-holding force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail). This makes the system ideal for heavy-duty glass doors and commercial glass entrance applications.

Installation and adjustment: after rail installation attach door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide. To fine-tune alignment, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts — center bolt secures the slide, outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm). Low-profile slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) and supports fabrication for out-of-square openings.

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include a built-in jamb alignment block; arms, pivots, closer arms, floor or overhead pivots, keyed cylinders, and thumbturns must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
