Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBS12PL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented wedge-actuated system secures monolithic tempered glass using two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an internal wedge groove to create very high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), providing exceptional glass retention for commercial storefronts and architectural glass doors.

Installation and adjustment overview:
After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable alignment slide. To fine-tune after hanging, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be positioned off the American Standard Setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) for vertically out-of-square
