Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBS34PL) features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for frameless glass door installations and commercial glass entryways, the system secures glass by applying downward pressure with two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges pull the extrusions together and compress the specially designed door-retaining gasket, generating very high clamping force for secure glass retention.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides faster installation than traditional door rails—experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide pre-assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System permits up to 1/8" (3.2 mm) in-or-out adjustment without removing the door and is standard on both top and bottom rails. To access adjustments, remove the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
