CRL PD and PDT Series Metal Bond Diamond Drills — PDT112 use a multi-layer Italian-made diamond and bronze bond engineered for maximum performance in glass. These metal bond diamond glass drill bits provide the longest life of any diamond drill type, delivering up to 1,000–2,000 holes in 1/4" (6.4 mm) glass with proper wet sharpening and maintenance. They cut faster and run cooler than competing drills thanks to a full 3/8" (10 mm) deep cutting surface filled with diamonds and bronze bond. Because of their extended diamond matrix, metal bond drills are more fragile and are intended for use in true-running machines on flat glass surfaces and production equipment, though they can also be used in compatible portable drills (e.g., CRL AMZ1).

NOTE: Always wear proper safety gear (gloves and eye protection) when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (Cat. No. GF1) whenever an electric tool is used with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in injury.
