CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills (SKU: EDD118) were designed as a cost-effective, high-value diamond plated drill for glass and tile. Solid steel construction and a smooth continuous rim deliver quick drilling with clean break-outs. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) diameter shank provides a secure fit for tripod and cup-style drilling machines. When worn, the plated surface can be sharpened once with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life.
Always use with the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when drilling glass, tile, or ceramics.
Product Warning:
Always wear appropriate safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in injury.
