CRL Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Setting Blocks (SKU: TPR561) are 90 durometer shore hardness TPR glazing blocks designed for structural glazing and storefront applications. These thermoplastic rubber setting blocks match common neoprene block sizes while offering excellent chemical resistance, non-marring performance, and UV stabilization—making them ideal for use with modern structural silicone and other sealants in curtain wall, commercial storefront, and window glazing systems.
Key features & differentiators:
- 90 durometer TPR—neoprene-equivalent hardness for consistent glass support
- Available in standard neoprene block sizes used in glazing and curtain wall installation
- Excellent chemical resistance; will not mar or stain glass or frame finishes
- UV stabilized for long-term exterior performance
Product Warning:
To ensure sealant-to-block compatibility, silicone sealant manufacturers can perform ASTM C1087 testing of job-site accessory materials. Results are provided in writing; testing typically requires ~4 weeks from receipt of samples. Job-specific compatibility testing with your chosen silicone or sealant is recommended before startup.
