CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills are engineered as an economical, high-value solution for drilling glass, tile, and similar brittle materials. Solid steel construction plus diamond plating delivers quick, clean hole drilling with minimal break-out. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) shank fits most drill machines reliably. When worn, the plated surface can be sharpened once with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend usable life.
Always use the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for optimal performance and longer tool life.
Product Warning:
Always wear appropriate safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating electric tools near water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
