CRL Weld Blocks (SKU: LSWB21) are designed for secure, permanent attachment to structurally sound steel beams, angles, or embedment plates. Use with CRL base shoes and stainless steel socket head cap screws (Cat. No. HHCS14X34) for a reliable connection. Common installation method: fasten the weld block to the base shoe, position assembly, then weld the block in place. These ready-to-weld blocks streamline glazing and storefront installation where welded base shoe anchors are required.
Product Warning:
When installing weld blocks, weld a minimum of two of the four sides using a 3/16" fillet weld for proper structural attachment.
