CRL Weld Blocks are weld-on attachment blocks designed for use with the CRL heavy aluminum base shoe. Manufactured from A36 hot-rolled steel, these weld blocks provide a ready-made mounting point for pre-drilled base shoes and accept CRL Cat. No. SHCS12X34 stainless steel socket head cap screws. Typical installation: attach the weld blocks to the base shoe, position the assembly, then weld the blocks to a structurally sound steel beam, angle, or embedment plate. Each block features a centered 1/2"-13 tapped hole. Sold in packs of 10.

When installing weld blocks, weld a minimum of two of the four sides with at least a 3/16" fillet weld to ensure structural integrity.
