Overview
- Unique aggressive sawtooth profile for faster material removal
- Our most durable style drill—machined from solid steel
- Diameters from 1/8" to 4-1/2"
The special sawtooth design of CRL Amazing Glazing Plated Diamond Drills reduces contact area for improved grinding action and increased coolant penetration. Ideal plated diamond glass drills for portable tripod and cup-style machines, these bits perform well when used with DTC80 Diamond Tool Coolant and submerged in a retaining ring. Our most durable drill is machined from solid steel and—after the plated diamonds are worn—may be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life.
SKU: AG11316
NOTE: Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow precautions can result in operator injury.
Product Warning
NEVER perform freehand drilling. Hand drills require a stabilization base such as our GDB1 or GDB2 Glass Drilling Bases. Extreme care is required—improper use may damage the bit and void the warranty.
