CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills (SKU: EDD134) were designed as a cost-effective diamond plated drill for glass and tile. This popular, economically priced drill features sturdy solid steel construction for quick hole drilling with clean break-outs. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) diameter shank ensures a secure fit in most drill machines. Although diamond plated, the drill can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life. Use for glass, ceramic, and other brittle materials with tripod or cup-style drilling machines.
Always use the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when drilling glass or tile.
Product Warning:
Always wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating any electric tool with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
Order the EDD134 diamond plated drill today and get dependable, economical holes in glass and tile.
