CRL Sealant Tape (SKU ST132X12) is a black, fabric-reinforced synthetic rubber sealant tape designed to form a watertight, gasket-like seal. The lightweight polyester cloth reinforcement prevents stretching, creeping, or sagging in service and helps the tape adhere reliably to most surfaces — including vertical and overhead applications. Accelerated weather testing showed no loss of flexibility, resiliency, or surface cracking after 1300 hours of exposure. The tape withstands sub-zero temperatures to -70°F (-56.7°C) and has aggressive tack for application at temperatures as low as 40°F (4°C). Peel-and-stick application is simple, and the tape can be repositioned without damaging the tape or the substrate, making it suitable as a weatherproof gasket tape, window and door sealant, and general-purpose sealing solution.
