CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills were designed as a cost-effective, high-value diamond plated drill for glass and tile. Solid steel construction provides quick hole drilling with clean break-outs. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) diameter shank ensures a secure fit in most drill machines. Diamond plating may be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend tool life. Suitable for glass, tile, and similar brittle materials when used correctly with cooling.
Always use the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results and longer bit life.
Product Warning:
Always wear appropriate safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when using any electric tool with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
