Overview

CRL flat tapered and MAB (square tapered) spindles provide adjustable spindle heights to match varying threshold and finished floor conditions. Designed for use with floor mounted door closers, these spindles work with all CRL models, the Jackson® 900, and DORMA® BTS80 series closers. The flat tapered spindle accepts center-hung and offset bottom arms and fits CRL patch fitting inserts. The MAB-style spindle is widely used in Europe and South America, making it a versatile choice for international and retrofit applications.
Product Warning:
To determine actual door clearance from finished floor, add 3/16" (5 mm) to the collar height.
Example: 1/8" (3 mm) collar height + 3/16" (5 mm) = 5/16" (8 mm) door clearance from finished floor.
