CRL Sealant Tape (SKU: ST18X38) is a black, fabric-reinforced synthetic rubber tape that forms a watertight, gasket-like seal for glazing, windows, doors, vents and general weatherproofing. Lightweight polyester cloth reinforcement prevents stretching, creeping or sagging in service and improves handling during installation. The aggressive tack bonds to most surfaces yet allows repositioning without surface damage. Accelerated weather testing showed no loss of flexibility, resiliency, or surface cracking after 1,300 hours; the tape remains flexible to -70°F (-56.7°C) and can be applied at temperatures as low as 40°F (4°C). Ideal long-tail use cases: weather-resistant sealing tape for window and door frames, black synthetic rubber gasket tape for glazing, and peel-and-stick waterproof sealing tape for outdoor repairs.
