Our glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SDU34C), uses the patented CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 & 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure monolithic tempered glass in commercial door applications. Two anodized aluminum glass-retaining extrusions clamp the glass via a flat stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, producing high compression force (over 900 lbs. in a 9" corner rail), ensuring a durable, vibration-resistant hold for full-length rails up to 35-3/4" (908 mm).

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installations than conventional door rails. Rails arrive fully fabricated and ready to install with end caps installed. After mounting, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The standard adjustable door alignment system (top and bottom rails) allows +/-1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — ideal for out-of-square openings.

To fine-tune after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and non-standard setback locations.
