Our innovative glass door rail, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SBS34C) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for secure glass attachment in commercial and architectural glass door applications, the system clamps the glass using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges in the rail draw the extrusions together and compress the door retaining gasket, producing exceptionally high holding force (over 900 lbs. in our 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). This same wedge action scales along full-length rails for robust, reliable glass retention in storefronts, entrances, and interior glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers fast installations and long-term reliability. Experienced installers can prepare a door for hanging in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System (top and bottom rails) allows field adjustments of 1/8" (3 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. To access adjustments, remove the end cap to reveal three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide also permits pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned for openings that are vertically out-of-square.
