The CRL Adjustable Spring Power Overhead Concealed Door Closer (SKU: CRL8772S) is an ADA-compliant, overhead concealed door closer designed for retrofit or new installations. Available as a body-only with mounting clips to replace non-adjustable closers, or as complete packages that include the door closer body, mounting clips, Type S side-load arm or Type A end-load arm, and a DP-Adjustable Dual-Purpose Bottom Pivot Set or GE-Pivot Set. The closer installs into standard 1-3/4" x 4" (44 x 102 mm) or larger extrusions and offers different spring sizes and hardware options to match site conditions.
Adjustable Spring Power
Adjust spring tension from a minimum opening force of 8-1/2 lbs up to a medium spring size to accommodate varying door weights and site requirements.
Independent Adjustment Valves
Non-critical valves provide independent control of closing speed and latching speed for precise door performance.
Special Retaining Rings
Retaining rings prevent valve screws from being backed completely out of the door closer body, improving durability and serviceability.
Hold Open Options
Available in both 90Β° and 105Β° hold-open and no-hold-open models to suit corridor and room layouts.
NOTE: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent over-extension of maximum door swing and potential damage to the closer or entryway.
