This CRL Finned Weatherstrip (SKU: FS7716C) combines energy-efficient fiber pile with a patented solid center fin to create a highly effective window and door weatherseal. The center fin provides an extra barrier against drafts, water intrusion, dust, and pests in gaps where pile weatherstripping is used. The polypropylene pile and backing outperform typical plastic seals—resisting mold, mildew, corrosion and abrasion—and are UV- and ozone-stabilized. Silicone treatment repels water, and the profile is designed to snap into most existing pile channels for fast replacement of storm window and door pile weatherstrips (fits approximately 90% of common profiles).
