Overview
- Unique, aggressive sawtooth profile for faster glass removal

The special sawtooth design of CRL Amazing Glazing Plated Diamond Drills (SKU: AG214) reduces contact area for improved grinding action and better coolant penetration. Ideal plated diamond drills for glass, they perform well in portable tripod and cup-style machines. Machined from solid steel for maximum durability, these diamond-plated glass drills are recommended for use with DTC80 Diamond Tool Coolant and submersion in a retaining ring for best results. Although plated, these drills can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone after the plated surface is worn to expose remaining diamonds, extending usable life.
NOTE: Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
Product Warning
NEVER perform freehand drilling. Hand drills require a stabilization base such as CRL GDB1 or GDB2 Glass Drilling Bases. Extreme care is required—using these drills other than as specified may damage the bit and void the warranty.
