CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills (SKU: EDD218) were engineered as a cost-effective diamond plated drill bit for glass and tile. This economical, best-selling drill features sturdy solid steel construction for quick hole drilling and clean break-outs. The smooth continuous rim reduces chipping on glass and ceramic, and the generous 3/8" (9 mm) shank ensures a secure fit in tripod and cup-style drilling machines. When worn, the plated diamond surface can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend tool life.
Always use with the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when drilling glass, tile, or similar materials.
