Overview
- Music Wire Diamond Drill — flexible music wire shank
- For Use in Hand-Held Rotary Tools (Dremel®, Foredom) and small precision drill presses
- SKU: TRD216
CRL Plated Diamond Flat-Tip Drills are diamond-plated on flexible music wire for precision drilling in glass, tile and other hard brittle materials. The Tripple-Ripple™ Diamond Drill increases cutting performance with three flutes that flush away debris, reduce frontal contact and drag, and expose fresh diamond as edges wear—delivering longer life and faster cutting compared to standard flat-tip drills. Ideal for hand-held rotary tools and small drill presses.
Key differentiators:
- Plated diamond on flexible music wire for precise control
- Three-flute Tripple-Ripple™ design for improved debris removal and extended life
- Optimized for Dremel® and Foredom rotary tools and precision drills
NOTE: Always submerge in CRL Diamond Tool Coolant solution to prevent overheating and prolong tool life.
Product Warning:
Always wear the proper safety gear including eye protection when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be used when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
