CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills are a cost-effective diamond-plated drill option for drilling glass and similar hard materials. Constructed from solid steel with a smooth continuous rim, the EDD Series delivers quick hole drilling and clean break-outs. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) shank ensures a secure fit in most drilling machines. When worn, the diamond plating can be sharpened once with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend tool life.
Always use the recommended mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when drilling glass or tile.
Product Warning:
Always wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
