CRL 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Core Mount Friction Fit Spigots (SKU: FWCR12BS) are core-drilled insertion spigots for concrete or block walls, engineered for 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass balustrades and glass partition installations. Constructed from Duplex 2205 stainless steel, these spigots deliver higher tensile strength and improved chloride pitting resistance versus 316 stainless—ideal for coastal or corrosive environments. Friction-fit design secures glass without fabrication: two grub screws press on a backing plate to clamp the glass. A garnish ring is included for a finished appearance. For reliable anchoring in drilled cores, we recommend Kwixset® Expanding Cement.
