The CRL Hanger Wire (SKU: PW6) is constructed from braided high-quality steel strands and is available in multiple diameters. Each spool contains approximately five pounds (2.3 kg) of wire and can be mounted on a rod for convenient dispensing. This picture hanging wire and mirror hanging wire supports up to a maximum breaking strength of 153 lbs (69.4 kg), making it suitable for picture frames, mirrors, and signage when used with metal hangers or screw eyes.
General Rule: Use wire with a break strength at least four times the weight of the item being hung.
