- Tilt window spiral balance for 9/16" (14 mm) tube diameter

Product: CRL Tubular Spiral Window Balance — SKU FH2820. These tubular spiral window balances are designed for tilt-type windows and will replace a metal or plastic tube balance with a sash load capacity up to 25 pounds (11.3 kg). This model features a red nylon bushing; it also replaces the same size spiral balance with a white bushing when dimensions match. For optimal performance, we recommend replacing both balances in the window at the same time.
How to order tubular spiral window balances:
- Check the tube diameter on the old balance (confirm 9/16" / 14 mm).
- Measure the tube length from the end of the balance to the bottom of the colored nylon bushing only — do not include the rod extension.
- Check the color of the nylon bushing (red indicates up to 25 lb).
- Verify the rod extension protruding from the nylon bushing matches the photo/spec.
- Match tube diameter, tube length, and bushing color against the information shown next to the catalog number. If all agree and the rod extension matches, this is the correct balance.
Order SKU FH2820 now to get the correct 9/16" tubular spiral balance for tilt windows — replace both sides for smooth, balanced operation.
