CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills (SKU: EDD314) were designed as an economical, high-value solution for drilling glass and other hard materials. The solid steel body and diamond-plated cutting surface deliver quick hole drilling with clean break-outs. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) diameter shank fits most drill machines, including tripod and cup-style setups. As a cost-saving differentiator, the diamond-plated surface can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose additional diamonds and extend tool life.
Always use the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when drilling glass or tile to reduce heat and extend bit life.
