The special sawtooth design of CRL Amazing Glazing Plated Diamond Drills reduces contact area to improve grinding action and increase coolant penetration, making these plated diamond drill bits ideal for glass drilling in portable tripod and cup-style machines. For best results use with DTC80 Diamond Tool Coolant and submerge in a retaining ring. Although plated, these glass drill bits can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone after the plating is worn to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life.

NOTE: Always wear proper safety gear, including eye protection, when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Cat. No. GF1 Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Device when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
