CRL Blind Rivets in Cases are supplied in standard factory pack quantities for easy stocking and bulk purchasing.
A blind rivet is a simple, reliable fastener: a solid mandrel is inserted into a tubular rivet and supplied as an assembled unit. Insert the rivet into aligned holes, then use a rivet setting tool
CRL Marson® HD Gun to pull the mandrel into the rivet, form a counterhead, and snap off the mandrel — leaving a secure, vibration-resistant joint. Blind rivets join thin-gauge or dissimilar materials without surface marring and conform to industrial standards, making them ideal for manufacturing, metal fabrication, automotive repair, and marine applications. Their low head profile and minimal back-up space provide a clean finished appearance and dependable performance.
To choose the correct catalog number, check the rivet diameter and grip range below. Consider joint strength, total material thickness (grip), and material types when selecting a rivet and head style. Rivet joint strength comes from counterhead clinch and compression of the rivet body against the hole. Select a rivet whose grip range includes the combined thickness of the parts; when in doubt, choose a slightly longer rivet. For soft substrates, consider using a
rivet spacer, which increases required grip range slightly.
