CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills — SKU: EDD334 are our most popular, economically priced diamond glass drill bits. Built with sturdy solid steel construction and a generous 3/8" (9 mm) diameter shank for a secure fit in most drill machines, these drills provide quick hole drilling with clean break-outs. The smooth continuous rim reduces chipping on glass and ceramic surfaces. Although diamond plated, the drill can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend service life.
For best performance, always use with a proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water when drilling glass.
Product Warning:
Always wear proper safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating any electric tool with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in operator injury.
