Developed for the tempering industry and optimized for hot glass handling, these CRL Shipping Pads (SKU: SP1434B) are made of heavy-duty composition rubber with a residue-free adhesive. Designed as protective rubber shipping pads for glass, they prevent surface scratches and reduce breakage during storage and transport. Application is simple—peel from the release-paper roll and stick to the glass; no special equipment, tools, or solvents are required for removal. Pre-cut pads are available on rolls of 1,000, or in bulk: 5,000 each of the 3/4" (19 mm) size, or 10,000 each of the 1/2" (12.7 mm) size.
Product Warning:
Sponge rubber shipping pads may not be compatible with all mirror backings. Mirror backings vary by manufacturer; pads used between mirrors can sometimes burn through or show through from the front. If separating or storing mirrors, consult the mirror manufacturer first and always test pad compatibility. Other glass protector pads to consider are: "CNA" Series Cork, "FGP" Series Felt, or "PNA" Series Pebbled pads. Always test the pad for compatibility with the mirror backing before using.
