This CRL Spearpoint Glass Drill (SKU 616) is an economical, reliable spearpoint glass drill bit designed for smooth, fast holes in glass, vitrolite, china, ceramic and tile. The diamond-lapped, spade-shaped tip delivers extended service life and consistent performance with low-RPM and hand-held drilling machines.
Fast and easy-to-use, this glass drill bit performs well in CRL2, SDM4, 41 glass drilling machines and standard power drills. To maximize bit life and hole quality, keep the bit cool with a lubricant such as CRL Cat. No. DTC80.
Safety: Always wear gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (e.g., CRL Cat. No. GF1) when operating electric tools with water or coolant. Failure to follow precautions can result in injury.
