CRL EDD Series Standard Plated Diamond Drills were designed as a cost-effective diamond-plated glass drilling solution and are our most popular, economically priced drill. The sturdy solid-steel construction provides quick hole drilling with clean break-outs on glass and similar materials. The generous 3/8" (9 mm) diameter shank fits securely into most drill machines. Although diamond-plated, the drill can be sharpened one time with a CRL Sharpening Stone to expose remaining diamonds and extend tool life.
Always use the proper mixture of CRL Diamond Tool Coolant and water for best results when glass hole drilling.

Always wear appropriate safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Perform work on a flat, horizontal surface. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating any electric tool with water or coolant. Failure to follow these precautions can result in injury.
