These CRL Tubular Spiral Window Balances (SKU: FH3020) are designed for tilt-type windows and replace metal or plastic tube balances with a sash load capacity up to 25 pounds (11.3 kg). They also replace spiral balances of the same size equipped with a white bushing. Balances are sold individually; we recommend replacing both window balances at the same time for consistent performance and sash alignment.

How to order tubular spiral window balances (tilt window replacement / 9/16" tube):

• 1. Confirm the tube diameter on the old balance is 9/16" (14 mm).
• 2. Measure the tube length from the end of the balance to the bottom of the colored nylon bushing only — do not include the rod extension.
• 3. Verify the color of the nylon bushing (red for this model).
• 4. Confirm the rod extension that protrudes from the nylon bushing matches the existing part.
• 5. Match tube diameter, tube length, and bushing color to the specifications shown next to the catalog number. If all match and the rod extension matches the photo, this is the correct replacement balance (FH3020).
