CRL's GRS™ Premium Cap Rails are manufactured using precision bump-forming for consistent radii, tighter tolerances, and reduced spring-back compared to roll-formed cap rails. Welds on both sides of the internal channel increase strength and stability, producing a straighter, twist-free rail that fits welded corners cleanly and resists discoloration — ideal for stainless steel cap rail applications on glass railings and architectural balustrades.

All CRL Premium Cap Rails are formed with precision tooling for uniform diameters and smooth hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. The internal channel is welded in place to improve fabrication strength. Use Cat. No. 32629 Metal Contact Cement to achieve a secure, permanent bond at all connections. Connector sleeves are required to join cap rails; use Sleeve No. GR20CSS. Sold in 120" (3.05 m) lengths; 168" (4.27 m) lengths and custom sizes available on request.

Glass compatibility & sealing: When used with 1/2" (12 mm) glass, use Cat. No. GR5PV cap rail vinyl and 95CBL Silicone. For 5/8" (16 mm) glass, secure with 95CBL Silicone and shims. For 3/4" (19 mm) glass, use 95CBL Silicone and appropriate shims. Please contact CRL Technical Sales for installation guidance or a quote.
