CRL's Premium Cap Rails are manufactured using a precision Bump-Forming process that delivers tighter tolerances, consistent radius, and minimal stress or spring-back compared with roll-formed cap rails. Welded internal channels add strength and stability, producing a premium railing product that fits into welded corners without twist or discoloration—ideal for architectural handrail and glass railing systems.

All Premium Cap Rails are formed with precision tooling for uniform diameters and hairline transitions at splices, corners, and end caps. Connector sleeves (Cat. No. GR16CSS) are recommended for secure joins. Use 32629 Metal Contact Cement for permanent bonding at connections.

Glass installation notes:

• With 1/2" (12 mm) glass: use Cat. No. GR5PV Cap Rail Vinyl plus 95CBL Silicone.
• With 5/8" (16 mm) glass: use 95CBL Silicone and shims to secure the glass.
• With 3/4" (19 mm) glass: use 95CBL Silicone and shims.
