CRL introduced 3M® Trizact® Abrasive Film to the glass industry. This engineered film features uniform, pyramid-shaped abrasive structures that expose fresh abrasive as it wears, flushing debris away for consistent cutting and a cleaner process. Ideal long-tail use cases include glass scratch removal on windshields, table tops, curved glass, edge finishing, and high-polish restorations.

This easy-to-use system includes five grades to progress from a fine ground finish to a clear, high-polish result—without messy slurries or contamination. For a small investment in equipment and supplies (see SKU TD510P), shops and DIYers can remove light or deep scratches, scuffs, wiper marks, and stains to make old glass look like new.

Use 3M® Trizact® wet with plain water. Move through each grade long enough to remove scratches from the previous grade to avoid small defects. When using the high-polish (cerium) stage, flush the work surface with water between stages to remove loose abrasive.
