CRL introduced 3M® Trizact® Abrasive Film to the glass industry. This engineered abrasive features microscopic pyramid-shaped abrasive structures that expose fresh abrasive as the surface wears, providing consistent cutting action and reduced clogging. As particles are released they flush away between the pyramids, eliminating messy slurries and contamination.

This easy-to-use system uses five progressive grades to go from a fine ground finish to an absolute clear polish on glass. Ideal applications include scratch removal, edge finishing, windshield scratch repair, tabletop restoration, and polishing curved or flat glass surfaces. For a small investment you can add equipment and supplies to remove light or deep scratches, scuffs, wiper marks, and stains—making an old windshield, table top, or glass pane look like new again.

Always use 3M® Trizact® wet with plain water. Move through each grade long enough to remove defects left by the previous grade; skipping steps can leave small imperfections. When using high-polish clear (cerium) for a final mirror finish, flush the work surface with water between stages to remove loose abrasive.
