CRL introduced 3M® Trizact® Abrasive Film to the glass industry as a precision, pyramid-structured abrasive that delivers uniform cutting and consistent results for glass scratch repair. Abrasive particles are released and flushed away between the pyramids for predictable wear and longer life.


This wet-use abrasive system uses five progressive grades to take glass from a ground finish to a clear, polished surface. Ideal long-tail uses include glass scratch removal kits for windshields and tabletops, edge finishing of flat and curved glass, and high-polish restoration without messy slurries or contamination.

3M® Trizact® effectively removes light and deep scratches, scuffs, wiper marks, and stains on many glass surfaces—making an old windshield or tabletop look like new. For best results, use each grade until scratches from the previous grade are fully removed and flush the surface with water between stages, especially when using cerium-based “high polish clear.”

Always use 3M® Trizact® wet with plain water and follow manufacturer polishing sequences to avoid small defects in the finished product.
