CRL introduced 3M® Trizact® Abrasive Film to the glass industry. This precision abrasive film uses engineered micro‑pyramids that expose fresh abrasive uniformly as they wear, allowing controlled, repeatable results for glass scratch repair and glass polishing.

This easy-to-use system includes five progressive grades to move from a ground finish to a clear, high-polish surface. Ideal long-tail uses include scratch removal on windshields and table tops, edge finishing, scuff and wiper mark removal, and other glass fabrication tasks—without messy slurries or contamination.

With a small equipment investment you can use 3M® Trizact® to remove light or deep scratches, stains, and scuffs on flat and curved glass and to produce finished, high-polish glass products. For best results, always use 3M® Trizact® wet with plain water and progress through each grade until all scratches from the previous grade are eliminated. When using high-polish cerium stages, flush the surface with water between stages to remove loose abrasive.
