CRL introduced 3M® Trizact® Abrasive Film to the glass industry. The film features natural abrasive shaped into uniform microscopic pyramids so fresh abrasive is continuously exposed as used and loose particles flush away between the pyramids.

This easy-to-use, wet-only abrasive system uses five progressive grades to take glass from a ground finish to clear, high-polish results. Ideal for glass scratch removal, windshield scratch repair, scuff and wiper mark removal, edge finishing, and restoring tabletops or mirrors without messy slurries or contamination.

With a small equipment investment you can remove light or deep scratches on flat and curved glass and produce finished, high-polish work using cerium "high polish clear." Always flush the work surface with water between stages to remove loose abrasive and ensure defect-free results.

3M® Trizact® is recommended for: windshield scratch removal, glass fabrication polish work, mirror and tabletop restoration, and precision edge finishing.

Usage tip: Use each abrasive grade long enough to erase all scratches from the previous grade—skipping stages can leave small defects.
