CRL introduced 3M® Trizact® Abrasive Film to the glass industry. The film uses engineered abrasive formed as uniform pyramids so fresh abrasive is exposed continuously as particles wear away and are flushed out. This provides controlled, long-lasting cutting for glass scratch removal and edge finishing.

This easy-to-use, five-grade system progresses from fine grinding to a clear, high-polish finish — ideal for removing light and deep scratches, scuffs, wiper marks, stains, and restoring windshields, table tops and curved glass. Compared with slurry-based methods, Trizact® reduces mess and contamination while delivering consistent results.

3M® Trizact® is used wet with plain water; each grade must be used long enough to remove defects left by the previous grade. When using the final "high polish clear" (cerium) stage, flush the work surface thoroughly between stages to remove loose abrasive.
